Appendixes and Linkage
The Code of Conduct is extended with Appendixes, which may or may not have a specific environment linked to them. Those do not take any effect outside their respective environment, if any is stated at all.
One should always refer to it in the [Appendix].[Rule].[Case] scheme. Usually, rules will not have special cases listed. Examples:
IV - Misses an appendix, rule IV, does not denote a special case -> refers to "Respect Intellectual Property"
B.III - Appendix B (Gitlab), rule III, does not denote a special case -> refers to "Repository Misuse" in the Gitlab Appendix.
C.I.2 - Appendix C (Games), rule I, case 2 -> refers to "Usage of Cheats" in the Games Appendix, specifically the allowance of cheats in a competitive environment if the match is community-internal and everyone agreed to it.
This kind of linkage MUST be done whenever punitive action has been taken, to denote any violations to the code of conduct resulting in said action being taken.
